Peter Gene Hernandez also known as Bruno Mars, is an American Singer and a Songwriter with mix music of reggae, rock, hip hop, and R&B and start of his own career at 2010 while he was been a back-up vocals with his known friends in the music industry before. He was born on October 8, 1985 in Honolulu Hawaii. At early 2000s he find his interest in song-writing and been successful for popular artists.

His parents were both musician, his father is a percussionist half Puerto Rican and half Ashkenazi Jewish, while his mother is a singer from the Philippines. At his early age Mars perform with his family on stage, he do impersonate Elvis and Michael Jackson. On his High School life in Roosevelt he had a band called The School Boys, most of their music were Old Hits. After his graduation in high-school he left Hawaii and fly to LA California. His life in L.A. is not very easy, he start doing his song-writing skill along with a friend name Phillip Lawrence, they write songs and recorded with label, which like but they are needing them with their artist to perform it, they failed but it serve as their lesson to focus more in writing songs.

Then years goes by, the pop music songwriter begun to show up his talent in singing with a rapper name B.o.B. doing on the chorus part of “Nothin’ on You”. The song was fast way up to the high on the Billboard Singles chart to Number 1 where Bruno Mars put him into a pop performer.

Months later Mars released his very first solo single named “Just the Way You Are” from his album Doo-Wops & Hooligans last October 2010. The song quickly hit the top of the Billboard singles chart. Plus the album was reached the Number 3 on the Billboard album charts, and another singles “Greanade” and “The Lazy Song” hit the Top 10 on the Billboard singles chart. And a song which included in the Twillight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 soundtrack “It Will Rain” which scored another hit.

Bruno Mars grab many awards in 2012 Grammy with the Album of the year. That night he perform a song from 1960s “Runaway Baby” veterans made him most in moving their seats.

His second album Unorthodox Jukebox was released on December 2012. Two of the songs in the album “Locked Out of Heaven” hit the top on the Billboard Hot 100 in six consecutive weeks at Top 10 in 20 countries, and “When I Was Your Man”, reached the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mars continue striving his career reaching the top of music industry as a singer and songwriter with his kind of music pop melodies and hip-hop beats.
